10. Can I choose another registrar of my choice instead?

Unfortunately, you cannot. This is not our decision, but is a rule that the ICANN has set. It stipulates that newly created domain names cannot be transferred to a new registrar for a period of 60 days. There is an advantage though, the transfer takes only one second and is free for you! Of course, after 60 days, you are free to transfer, or not, your domain name to any registrar you want.
